How we turn traveller reviews into useful advice

Our starting point is a question about a particular ship. We connect public traveller reports with published ship details and dated booking observations so readers can see both the finding and its limits.

One ship at a time

Reviews and photographs are assigned to the vessel identified in the captured source. Platform totals and the number of readable reviews in our archive can differ. Our ship pages label the captured count separately; a missing review corpus stays missing.

What an aspect means

An aspect is a topic mentioned in a review, such as dining, cabin comfort or service. A review can discuss several topics and can be positive about one and negative about another. Aspect mentions therefore cannot be added together to calculate the number of travellers.

Summaries and original evidence

AI assists with organizing and summarizing the captured text. Findings are not personal inspections or guarantees. Our interactive review tools preserve the underlying evidence so you can check context. A single complaint may be worth checking but does not establish a recurring problem.

Translation

When our displayed review is an English rendering of a Chinese source, it should be read as a translation. Translation can lose tone or detail. Refer to the original source before relying on a disputed point.

Photos and scores

Guest photographs and publisher images serve different purposes and are labelled separately. Classification describes what is visible, not whether a facility is currently available. The radar shows positive mentions as a share of normalized mentions, not an independent star rating. Review volume measures the depth of the captured sample, not sales or a representative survey of all passengers.

Dates, corrections and independence

Prices and routes are dated observations. We do not accept payment for a better ranking. Booking links can generate affiliate commission. We have not personally sailed every vessel, and our About page explains our background and limitations.
